How cool and warm colours psychology and emotionally effect us. One half of the colour wheel shows a range of pinks, reds, orange and yellows which indicate warm colours, whereas the bottom half shows a range of purple, blue, greens, these are hues that represent cool colours. So whatever the picture/illustration/design is you can add a certain temperature to set the mood or scene.

This research and information is useful for my movie title sequence, as my idea is horror aesthetic I need to portray this emotion properly. I need to use blues, greens and darker shades to convey a scary scene. But without representing relaxation and calmness  through the blue hues.
